“Dissecting Table” released the new music song “In The Chaos Of Distraction”
“Dissecting Table” just dropped the new and hot song “In The Chaos Of Distraction”. It will contain the song 'Anabiosis (Binaural Recording)', 'Attenuation (Binaural Recording)', 'Ambivalence (Binaural Recording)', 'Internal Argument (Binaural Recording)', 'Anabiosis (Line Recording)', 'Attenuation (Line Recording)', 'Ambivalence (Line Recording)', 'Internal Argument (Line Recording)' total of 8songs. Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.
Tracks 1-4 of the album are binaural recordings, and tracks 5-8 are line recordings. When listening through headphones, the sound image of the binaural recording gets localized outside the head, while the sound image of the line recording gets localized inside the head. Please listen with headphones to enjoy the three-dimensional sound. On January 14, 2025, a synthesizer system with 24 channel speakers was binaurally recorded for performance. The synthesizer system consists mainly of a computer, a universal serial bus (USB) device, a line selector, a buffer, a filter, and a mixer. To improve sound quality, the speaker unit was a Fostex FE166NV2. The speaker arrangement consisted of eight front speakers, eight rear speakers, and eight left and right speakers arranged to form a rectangle 118 cm wide and 141 cm long. The speaker unit were turned toward the inside. The front, rear, and left and right speakers are referred to as the first to eighth speakers, respectively. The front and rear speakers were placed symmetrically adjacent to the left and right sides from the midpoint of the short sides. The front speakers are referred to as the first through eighth speakers, in order from right to left. The first and eighth speakers were placed on the upper edge; the second and seventh speakers were placed 6 cm outside the upper edge; the third and sixth speakers were placed 12 cm outside the upper edge; and the fourth and fifth speakers were placed 18 cm outside the upper edge. Front speakers were positioned 60 cm above the floor. The same method was used for the rear speakers, placing the first through the eighth speaker. The rear speakers were placed at a height of 22.5 cm from the floor. The left speakers were placed with the first speaker at the top of the left side, at a height of 42.5 cm from the floor, the second speaker was placed 35 cm from the front, 6 cm outside the left side, 36 cm high from the floor, the third speaker was placed 70 cm from the front, 12 cm outside the left side, and at a height of 29 cm from the floor, the fourth speaker was placed 105 cm from the front, 18 cm outside the left side and at a height of 24.5 cm from the floor. The fifth to eighth speakers were placed using the same method as the speakers on the left-hand side. Conventional speakers were placed in a linear line; however, the transfer characteristics of the sound transmitted from the speaker to both ears can be changed by placing the speakers on a curve. The mixer performed the sound source movement for eight speakers, and the control signal output from the USB device was input to the mixer to control the sound source movement. Three mixers were used for the 24-channel speakers. Each of the eight speakers used a different method for sound source movement. For recording, dummy head microphones were placed on a rectangular center-of-gravity box. The box was 21 cm long, 36 cm wide, and 29 cm high. In this case, the acoustic characteristics of the system were improved by changing the speaker units and placement. Thus, the sound quality of the binaural recordings also improved.

Dissecting Table
Ichiro Tsuji was born in 1966. He started working on noise/industrial music for his band named "Dissecting Table" in Tokyo in 1986. He returned to his hometown of Hiroshima in 1998, and has been pursuing musical activities ever since. His records and compact disks have been released under the independent label of the UPD organization, and under labels in Europe and the United States. In the first and middle stage of his career he controlled the synthesizer and sampler by the sequencer, but since 2012, the works have been produced by controlling PWM signals output from a USB device on a computer. Lately the work is being made by developing an original synthesizer system.
