As a singer-songwriter, Suna has been involved in a wide range of activities, not only making music but also producing short films. For three years after the Korona disaster, Suna has continued her music activities, focusing on posting cover videos on video-sharing websites. In 2023, she launched a new solo project, SANDTOWN, and released her first single, "Nevertheless". Inspired by the popular Korean drama "Nevertheless" on NETFLIX, the song is lo-fi chill music in the style of 80s-90s city pop. The song is a poetry ballad about a protagonist who falls into the trap of love even though he knows it is wrong. The arrangement was done by British artist Giant Chess Men, who is a close friend of SANDTOWN.

Born on August 30, Virgo From an early age, she was exposed to English, Japanese and Western music, and developed an interest in music. At the age of 5, she began learning musical theater, and at the age of 9, she participated in and passed the NHK Nodo Jiman (singing contest). At the age of 14, influenced by the music of aiko, who was recommended by a friend, she decided to become a singer-songwriter and began writing lyrics. After entering university and moving to Tokyo, she began to challenge auditions in earnest and won the semi-grand prize in a vocal contest out of a total of 1013 contestants. In 2013, she started live performances mainly on the internet and performed at zepp divercity. In 2017, she produced his own short film with the desire to make film music. In 2020, she started posting weekly on YouTube due to the Coronavirus. Around this time, he also began teaching himself DTM. In 2023, she started a new project "SANDTOWN" in search of new musical expression.
