Mamoru Ishida
Mamoru Ishida has been familiar with jazz since he was a child due to his father's influence, and has acquired a trumpet. He was impressed by Oscar Peterson when he was in junior high school and turned to the piano. Since he was in high school, he frequently participated in jam sessions and began playing in earnest when he entered college. He won the Grand Prix at the 2001 Yokohama Jazz Promenade Competition.Served as a regular pianist for Takao Uematsu (ts), Eri Ono (vo), Isao Suzuki (b), and Tomonao Hara (tp). In addition to "Iemanro" (2007) and "ISHIDA MAMORU 4 feat.Mike Rivett" (2011), the piano trio album "Afterglow" featuring Ryohei Komaki (bass) and Kaito Nakamura (ds) was released on
