Karyu, the guitarist from Angelo and ex.D'ESPAIRSRAY, has started a new three-member band. D'ESPAIRSRAY successfully held solo performances in Germany and France in 2004 and carried out concerts in 9 European countries, including Germany, France, and the UK in 2006, recording a total of 15,000 attendees. They subsequently participated as the only Japanese band in Europe's largest metal festival, [Wacken Open Air]. After joining events like Los Angeles's [J-ROCK REVOLUTION], Finland's [TUSKA OPEN AIR 2007], and [RUISROCK 2007], they went on to have solo tours in Spain and Sweden. In 2008, they joined the "ROCKSTAR taste of CHAOS 2008" held in 34 cities across the US and expanded their activities to Asia. However, this talented band announced their disbandment in June 2011, much to the regret of fans. H.U.G.'s lineup also includes vocalist ryo (HOLLOWGRAM) and manipulator Kazutoshi Yokoyama. Their first stage performance was on September 8, 2022, at Spotify O-EAST during the event [DEVIL'S PARTY 2022 vol. 2]. On March 24, 2023, they held their First Showcase ONE-MAN Live [SHOWCASE 01] at Spotify O-WEST and subsequently achieved great success with their [1st TOUR H.U.G TOUR 2023 -LOVE THAT NEVER ENDS-] starting in June.
