Maika Loubté to Release Cover EP "Dream, Neo, Atmo" on April 23, with Spitz's "Robinson" as the First Pre-release Single on March 26. Singer-songwriter and producer Maika Loubté has announced the release of her cover EP *Dream, Neo, Atmo* on Wednesday, April 23. This project reimagines classic J-POP songs through her unique artistic vision. As the first pre-release single, Maika will unveil her cover of Spitz's "Robinson" on Wednesday, March 26. The EP *Dream, Neo, Atmo* features three songs that left a lasting imprint on Maika's heart, influenced by her upbringing in Japan and adolescence spent abroad. The tracklist includes *Spitz's "Robinson"*, *Cocco's "Tsuyoku Hakanai Monotachi"*, and *PUFFY's "Asia no Junshin"*. With deep respect for the original songs, Maika adds her distinctive arrangements to bring them into a new sonic realm. For **"Robinson"**, Maika has meticulously crafted the **choral a cappella sections**, maintaining the emotional depth of the original while weaving in a futuristic and fantastical **soundscape** that is uniquely hers. The **cover artwork** features Maika's personal interpretation of the motifs and imagery found in **"Robinson"**'s lyrics, which were then further refined by **renowned designer SHINJI ItoU**. By reimagining this iconic **'90s J-POP classic**, Maika Loubté invites listeners to experience it through the lens of her **new sonic universe**. ### **Artist's Comment:** *"'Robinson' is a very special song for me. It holds a deep connection to my teenage memories. When arranging this cover, I worked with the themes of 'a cappella,' 'choral harmony,' and 'cathedral.' Raised in Paris, Hong Kong and now residing in Tokyo, Maika Loubté is consistently exploring both novel and nostalgic music styles. After the release of their first EP "Membrane" in July last year, Nibi continues to pursue more sophisticated musical expression. Their fourth single "From Snow" expresses the silence of snow and heart-wrenching emotions with delicate melodies and dark electro sounds, and is a work that clearly reflects fluctuating love and seeping pain. The jacket design for this work was done by the group themselves, expressing their unique worldview not only in terms of music but also in terms of visual art. The sound, video, and artwork work together to make the deep scenery of "From Snow" stand out more clearly. In addition, they experienced their first live performance last year, and continue to work as if to confirm each step, searching for things that can only be expressed live. The music video will premiere on Youtube at 20:00 on Friday, March 29th. Following on from his previous work "Floss Silk," director Seiya Ito portrays the world of the song with images of madness and mercy mixed together on the snowy mountain setting. Starring actor Tomoko Hoshi. Despite filming in harsh conditions, Hoshi expresses the protagonist's feelings delicately yet boldly, bringing out the pain and prayer contained in the song even more clearly. Nibi

Started activities in 2020. A music unit consisting of singer-songwriter Takahashi Norie and composer Omura Tomoya. Based on Omura's meticulously constructed electronic sound, Takahashi sings introspective words with her clear and strong vocals. In 2022, they produced a film without visuals, "Mizu no Hoshi," which is made up of music, script, and illustrations, through crowdfunding. In April 2024, they released the digital single "Floss Silk" and released the music video. On July 31st, they released the 6-song EP "Membrane." On August 31st, they planned a release party at the art space Kouen in Nakameguro and performed their first live show.
