Oh! Friends' 3rd single in a year is a memorial number dedicated to legendary guitarist Makoto Ayukawa on the first anniversary of his sudden death in January 2022. Makoto Ayukawa was the guitarist of SHEENA & THE ROKKETS and SONHOUSE, and had been active for more than 50 years since the dawn of Japanese rock music. Oh! Friends was also strongly influenced by both bands, and we both went to their last gig together before their death. On January 29, 2022, when the news of Makoto Ayukawa's passing spread throughout Japan, what naturally came to mind in their grief was his beloved 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom, known as "Black Beauty.
