Tokushima J-R&B band formed on April 1, 2023, led by Chuki (Vo.Gt.Key). Chuki (Vo.Gt.Key) is the total producer of the band, including lyrics, composition, and promotion. He started learning violin at the age of 6 and grew up listening to Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquai under the influence of his father. After the pandemic caused by Covid-19, he was exposed to various instruments such as bass and piano as a period of input from his external output activities. A casual comment from Yuuki (Gt), who had been his musician friend since before the band was formed, "I would like to hear your original songs," led him to start composing music, and together with Akihiro (Ba) and Yusuke (Dr), the four of them formed blend house. After a period of preparation, including songwriting and arranging, they began live performances on July 1 of the same year, based in Tokushima Prefecture. In October, they won the Grand Prix at FM Tokushima Music Contest BURN. On November 1 (tentative), their first song "Awa no Odoriko" was released via subscription distribution, and was released as a physical 7-inch single. blend house (origin of the band name) The name "blend house" is derived from the band's desire to "blend" various kinds of music and become a warm "house" that can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of gender, age, nationality, race, etc.
