Quaint Banquet

Quaint Banquet, a music project, is the brainchild of Adue, who brings a unique vision and diverse musicality to the table. The project kicked off as his engaged in a personal artistic exploration, merging his distinct background with his passion for art. Originally inclined towards painting and contemplating art college, he veered away from a career as a painter after a discouraging incident in his high school art club. He switched tracks to pursue dentistry, earning his dental license, but art was where his heart truly lay. In college age, he formed a band with his friends, self-taught himself guitar, and assumed the role of guitarist and vocalist. Musical creations are heavily influenced by his admiration for The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel, alongside transformative encounters with artists like Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Frank Zappa and Cream. Contemporary bands such as Vampire Weekend, and Oneohtrix Point Never have also played a significant role in shaping his sound in recent years. Style of music is a tapestry of rock, punk, classic, afrobeats and also 70-90s Japanese City-Pop elements, all coming together to forge a unique identity.
