Ayako Ishikawa

A violin virtuoso, Ayako has given numerous sold-out recitals and concerts in various countries, and has also enchanted audiences worldwide through numerous TV programs and radio broadcasts. Ayako began playing the violin at the age of three in Tokyo, and moved to London at the age of five. At the age of fifteen, she moved to Sydney, where she won the National Overall Instrumental Winner's Competition, and was given the honorary title of "The Best Performer in Australia". Her exceptional international achievements were recognized by the Australian government, bestowing upon her a Distinguished Talented Permanent Visa - "the visa designed for people who are internationally recognized for exceptional and outstanding achievement in the arts." She was awarded a Merit Scholarship to the University of Sydney - the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and completed her Bachelor of Music Degree with First Class Honours. Her first album, released in Japan in 2015, has charted the top of the country on iTunes. She gives her concert tour around Japan and China each year since 2017. Her official Bilibili channel in China crossed the mark of 20 million subscribers and her official YouTube channel crossed the mark of 71 million subscribers. (As of December 2020). Currently, Ayako performs throughout the world, playing a various genres of music to spread the joy of classical violin and music. She plays the 1711 Stradivarius violin.

DJ/Trackmaker
One of the most experienced DJs on the scene, he has participated in events across the world and performed with prominent artists. He supported the golden age of Hydeout Productions as the label's resident DJ, and has released a large number of mixes, including "Hydeout Sound Lab," the hit official mix co-produced by Nujabes, the Nujabes Tribute Mix, his own official mix, "Optical Axis" (Ultravibe), as well as HMV Shibuya&ONLINE's 10-year anniversary project, "Live@Somewhere."
Also prolific as a track maker, he released the "GEMS EP" series and its expansion album, "Blue Chronicle," which were unusually big sellers for analog. After gaining experience remixing music by artists from both Japan and abroad, he released his first album "Maintain The Focus," the instrumental collection "Scenes From Life," and his second album "Trace The Roots," all earning him universal praise for his fluent and colorful sound production.

As further proof of his popularity, he has also contributed music under the name Smooth Current for Vol. 6 of "Mushroom Jazz," the popular MIX CD by Mark Farina, the face of San Francisco's OM Records.
Apart from his solo career, he also works with Shin-Ski and Boston-based talent Insight to form the ShinSight Trio, an international group transcending borders. They made their major debut with Teichiku Records and have released three albums to date. Their popularity doesn't stop in Japan; they have also reached the top of the charts in China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Singapore. Currently reaching audiences across the world, the group has appeared on a major Chinese TV network's special New Year's program and Casio's "Shock the World in Shanghai," as well as expanding into Taiwan by collaborating with Soft Lipa, a prominent figure in the local scene.

His activities do not stop with the club scene. He also helps promote the Olympus Linear LS series and has provided music for Pioneer's "Steez." These projects, together with his finely tuned ear and his influence, continue to attract fans.

DÉ DÉ MOUSE's new project "Wisperwave," themed around the skies of Tokyo's suburbs. The second EP, "Boulevard Nocturne" set in Tama Center at night and featuring tracks including the recently released "Arpeggio like a Drifter," is out now via Chill & Life Community's "Lonely Girl"! This EP is a concept work that paints "winter night scenes" with sound- a scene strolling from Tama Center's main street through residential neighborhoods, white breath illuminated by streetlights, an empty path home. Like walking step by step through a quiet winter night, the softly swaying piano and lo-fi beats seep into your heart. The piano arrangement expresses the blurred light, atmospheric feel, and wavering vision through sound, much like Impressionist art avoids sharply defined contours. Paired with lo-fi beats and illustrations by Tomoko Oshima, it elevates into a nostalgic and dramatic "winter story" unique to each listener. This EP gently lights the way for hearts seeking tranquility-whether on a night stroll or through headphones on the way home. "DÉ DÉ MOUSE", as a producer/keyboardist/DJ, continues to garner a large following both domestically and internationally with his melody cut-up technique and catchy, enigmatic melodies/chord progressions. In 2023, he released the collaborative EP "Sparkler Girl" with maeshima soshi, followed by the collaborative EP "Riverside Girl" with Refeeld in 2024, both selected for numerous playlists and generating buzz. Furthermore, in 2025, he launched a new project "Afternoon Air Currents" and released a collaborative song with singer WaMi and Refeeld via Lonely Girl, continuing to actively release music at the forefront of the scene. DJ OKU

DJ OKU (Funkcuts) At the age of 15, DJ OKU was inspired to start DJing after being deeply impacted by the legendary event Sanpin CAMP. While competing in the world-renowned DJ competition DMC, he honed his skills as a battle DJ, performing at numerous events with genre-defying selections and signature scratch techniques. In 2012, he launched the respected grassroots battle GRIND DJ BATTLE in Osaka. In 2013, he formed the unit Funkcuts with TALKBOX player BEN. Their music gained attention on YouTube, leading to appearances such as the opening act for GAKU-MC, the Guam Summer Beach Festival, and the LIVE TOUR 2018 in MACAU with Hong Kong idol group E-kids. Since relocating to Tokyo in 2018, he has continued to create and perform music both solo and as Funkcuts. After the pandemic, he returned regularly to Osaka-his home for nearly a decade-to organize events, and in 2024, he launched a local music festival in his hometown of Gōtsu, Shimane called Arifuku Onsen Ongakusai. He continues to perform actively across Japan.

A dream collaboration album is born: world-renowned violinist Seiko Yamane-known for her work with Tangerine Dream as well as her multifaceted career as a soloist and composer-joins forces with KASHIWA Daisuke, celebrated for his soundtrack to the film The Garden of Words and his prolific work in electronica, as well as his achievements as an audio engineer. This 14-track album originates from Yamane's improvised "idea sketches." Recorded at various times with no fixed instrumentation, the pieces freely shift between acoustic and electric violin depending on her feeling and intuition on the day. As a result, each track carries its own distinct tone and atmosphere, highlighting the raw immediacy and individuality that only improvisation can produce. KASHIWA Daisuke then boldly deconstructed, reconstructed, remixed, and rearranged these performances, adding entirely new interpretations that reveal different aspects and hidden charms of the original sketches.
