Born and raised in Minnesota, USA, and returned to Japan and graduated International school in Tokyo in a bilingual and bicultural environment. Thought about moving back to the states where her home was but decided to reside in Japan and build her career and pursue her dream as a singer. Her songs persuade her upbringing and bicultural aspect. Her music expresses r&b and black melodic sounds. In 2016, with little experience she performed an opening act for a jazz singer KISHIKO at JZ Brat Shibuya. This kicked off her stage debut and has been performing at live events and other live houses in Tokyo. JoyC. has worked on her lyrics and co-written her original songs. Genre: R&B, HipHop, 90`s, Gospel and funk. Favorite artists: Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Lauryn Hill, Utada Hikaru, Chara etc.
