TAKESY is a Japanese LoFi beatmaker, playlist curator and web designer for Japanolofi Records. He was introduced to LoFi HipHop as background music while working from home, triggered by the global COVID-19 infection boom in December 2019. Instantly fascinated by the style, he started producing LoFi / Chill beats in earnest in January 2022. His activities are centered on releasing music through overseas labels, and to date, he has been a member of Chill Moon Music, Etymology Records, Soundplate, Calm Waves Records, Chill Space, Lo-fi Clouds, Tsunami Sounds, and others, Wavee Sound and other labels in several countries. In Japan, he has released music on Japanolofi Records, Lonely Girl, and SETO CHORD MUSIC.
