Saori Kobayashi
Saori Kobayashi is a Pianist, organist and keyboardist. She plays a wide variety of music from classical, jazz, pop, world music, acoustic piano to Hammond organ and synthesizer. She is one of the few multi-keyboard players.i Born in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. She has studied the electone since childhood, and has achieved excellent results in numerous competitions. Obtained Electone Performance Grade 3 and Teaching Grade 5. After playing Big Band tunes on the electone, she started to interested in jazz and began to play with the Arrow Orchestra in her third year of high school. Studied under Mr. Tadao Kitano at Arrow Music School from the 3rd grade of high school. After that, she entered the Jazz Department of the Junior College of Osaka College of Music, where she studied under Haruya Kibata. Graduated as valedictorian from her school and began performing live while still a student. After graduation, she began playing the Hammond organ as a self-taught instrument. Formed organ trio 'JC&' in December 2018. Released her 1st album 'Precious', 2nd album 'COLORS' in April 2020 and 'OUTBURST' in April 2021. She has been well-received and has filled many well-known live houses in the Kansai region with her music. In November 2021, she formed a piano trio with Ryo Hatakeyama (ba) and Yohei Saito (drs). Performs mainly jazz and original music at live houses and other venues. In addition, the 'Osaka jazz channel', which has become a nationwide sensation on YouTube, has made a name for itself nationwide. The band is gaining recognition and is attracting fans from all over the country at each of its live venues. In July 2023, she released an album in collaboration with singer Yuka. They have been performing and production activities. In July 2024, she plans to release an all-original piano trio album. She is one of the most popular young pianists today, and is expected to make even greater strides in the future.
