Naoto Oyama After graduating from Osaka University of Arts, Naoto Oyama studied music in Los Angeles, where he gained extensive experience before becoming an active bassist both domestically and internationally. Known for his deep, rich bass lines that lead the trio's music, Oyama is characterized by his emotive expression and technical performance. He is also proficient in composition and arrangement, having crafted many original songs. Musical Style The Naoto Oyama Trio is founded on jazz but incorporates elements from various genres such as Latin, hip-hop, and classical music. Their music is distinguished by masterful improvisation and sophisticated arrangements. Live performances are particularly focused on creating a sense of unity with the audience, ensuring each show is unique.
