This album, his fourth full-length album in total, is an amazing two-disc set: Side A, which was produced with the help of guests and his old engineer Akihiro Iizuka on some songs, and Side B, which was composed entirely with his own performance and recording. Although the songs on this album vary in time, ranging from the most recent songs to those created during the band's college days, the songwriting and multi-layered arrangements remain consistent, and a sense of pessimism pervades the entire album, resulting in a collection of timeless and exceptionally boring pop songs. The songs are deeper and more melancholic than ever, focusing not only on the traditional guitar-oriented elements, but also on the flowing piano and profound chorus work, gently but powerfully embracing the loneliness and emptiness of everyday life. Now and Then is a lonely pop maestro who spins universally good melodies with exciting chord progressions in a total of 20 songs.

"CUTENESS" is the debut single by Roka, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter who expresses her original musicality with roots in R&B and soul. Roka is a singer-songwriter from Kanagawa Prefecture. She is a self-produced artist who writes lyrics, composes, and arranges her own music, and her high singing ability and sense of rhythm, as well as her pop-ness, attracts many music fans. This is the first song written and composed by Roka, and "Cuteness" is a minimal yet gorgeous and graceful R&B song that shines with Roka's high singing ability and excellent sense of rhythm. It has a new sound that catches the trend of neo-soul from overseas. The arrangement was done by Co-3oly, an 18-year-old producer based in Fukuoka who is currently attracting attention for his participation in the arrangement of Mone Kamihiraishi's solo songs. Fried Banana Shop was formed in 2021 by Yoji (Sax), Tomo (Gt.), and Ryuju (Dr.). They mix elements of Jazz, R&B, Funk, and Rock from their respective roots and sublimate them into a unique indie-pop sound.
