In 2020, while the world was in the midst of the Corona disaster, he learned of the new life in his wife's belly and lost his mother shortly thereafter.
This album was recorded during a special time in his life, amidst the joy of becoming a father and the sadness of losing his mother.
Starting with Timeless, an original composition dedicated to his unborn child and his late mother, and ending with Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, this album flows like a story, leaving the listener with a strange aftertaste, as if he or she has taken a sonic journey.
The subtlety of the quietly spreading ripples and the sometimes bold and thrilling performance will leave the listener with a sense of freshness and nostalgia at the same time.
Reflecting on the recording, he says,-I naturally overflowed with deep love and gratitude for the new life and my late mother, and became one with the sensual world.
The first album -In My Mind's Eye,- created in the midst of great change, is a piece that will shake something in each listener and allow them to experience the musical world created by the Kenichi Takahashi Trio.
