Keisuke Kunii
Born in Ibaraki Prefecture. He loved stealing bases and was a member of the baseball team in his first year of junior high school when he developed spinal cord inflammation. He was discharged from the hospital after three weeks, but the doctor told him, "You can't exercise because even catching a cold can cause pneumonia." He tearfully gave up baseball. He stopped going to school because he felt frustrated and empty after God took away his only pleasure from stealing bases and baseball. His mother couldn't bear to see him like that, and handed him the first song of "Te no Naru Hou e" from the album "Music is a Wonderful Thing," by Kinmokusei, saying, "Listen to this, it'll cheer you up." He was shocked when he heard the first note and woke up to music. He became interested in the bass. When he went to high school, he bought a bass with his part-time job money. A classmate from junior high school asked him, "I only have a guitar player free, do you want to join a band?" and he formed a band. He wasn't good at being noticed, but he played the guitar. At the age of 24, he decided to be the frontman himself and left the band. After taking a seven-year break, he is now active in music, with the theme of "Still, I'll Live."
