"Time Remembered" is the first album of the new project "Banksia Trio" by young talented bassist Takashi Sugawa. A bass of Takashi Sugawa with various expressive powers, an intelligent and beautiful piano by Masaki Hayashi, and a thrilling drum by Shun Ishiwaka. Hayashi runs lyrically through the unrivaled sprint and dynamism created by Sugawa and Ishiwaka. The sharpened ensemble created by three top players who are at the top of the Japanese jazz world has achieved a unique sound. All the songs are originals except for the famous song "Time Remembered" by Bill Evans. Surprisingly, half of the recorded songs, including songs written the day before recording or the morning of the day, were played almost at first glance. What is recorded here is the advanced chemistry created by the high technology and creativity of three people.
