During his junior high school years, he was exposed to the guitar boom, and since his house was located right in front of the school, many guitar boys gathered there, and influenced by them, he started playing the guitar himself. He tried his hand at Simon & Garfunkel songs and played "Condor is Flying Away" with a friend in his third year of junior high school.
