“Akashimoto Kinger” released the new music song “We're Kinger”

The unit "Akashimoto Kinger" was formed in 2014, but went on hiatus that year and 10 years passed. In 2024, they "rebooted" and created their first original work as a unit. The song was based on a demo written by Hiroshi Hashimoto (Vo/Pf), to which Hayata Akashi (Vo/Gt) added the lyrics for the second verse, which was completed together. It is a glimpse into the real daily life of the two and their enthusiasm for the unit. The arrangement is peppered with Akashi's guitar orchestration, and the hybrid drum loop is a refreshingly unique sound.

Akashimoto Kinger

Singer/songwriters Hiroshi Hashimoto (Vo/Pf) and Hayata Akashi (Vo/Gt) formed this harmony unit in 2014. The unit is characterized by a unique sound based on the perfect balance between Hashimoto, who specializes in life-sized, beautiful ballads, and Akashi, who has a reputation for "weird" songs that transcend genres and are influenced by progressive rock, and the harmonies created by the beautiful high tones of the two. The name "Akashimoto Kinger" comes from the combination of their first names and the fictional hero "Space Kinger" that Akashi created in his youth. At the end of their first year, Akashi' s father died just before their second concert, and the concert was canceled. After that, they were busy with their own activities, and before they knew it, 10 years had passed. In 2024, they met again after a long time, hit it off, and decided to "reboot" their activities on the occasion of the 10th anniversary. They co-wrote their first song "Bokura Kinger (We're Kinger)" under the name of the unit and resumed their live activities.
