R&B singer aimi is set to release her fifth EP, Tell Me You Love Me Too, on December 10. The six-track conceptual project centers on the theme of "the lingering echoes of love," portraying stories of parting, emotional scars from the past, and passionate devotion. With soulful and emotional R&B soundscapes, the EP tenderly embraces those who live for love. The project opens with "In The Memories," a deeply personal ballad that reflects on the warmth and love left behind for a beloved who has passed away. The previously released single "Make a Hit" delivers a sultry slow jam where aimi sings passionately, "You and I, we're gonna make a hit." Other highlights include the dreamy mid-tempo "Is It A Crime?" about unwavering love; "Magic Hour," a romantic scene painted in the glow of sunset; "Lost With You," a bittersweet song of unfulfilled love; and "Tell Me," a heartfelt plea asking, "Tell me you loved me too, tell me just like I do." Sonically, the EP blends influences from '90s Quiet Storm R&B, soulful sampling, minimal acoustic textures, and West Coast-inspired sounds, capturing love in all its forms. The EP is produced by longtime collaborator Modesty Beats, Atlanta-based DJ/producer Roos & NINETYSEVN, mixed by Jess Wong (Atlanta), and mastered by Hiroshi Shiota, known for his extensive work in Japanese hip-hop. aimi comments: "This is my second EP of the year, created as I faced the unresolved emotions and traumas of my past. Each song naturally emerged from that process. While the theme of 'love's afterglow' runs through the project, it's not just about romance - it's about trusting someone, being broken, and being saved again by love. I hope this EP resonates with anyone who has ever experienced the beautiful complexity of love."

aimi

Born and raised in Japan, aimi is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and emerging R&B artist. Based in Tokyo, she is now one of the most authentic R&B songstresses, contributing to the evolving Japanese R&B scene. She released her first bilingual EP, Water Me (2020), for both Japanese and global R&B listeners. Growing up listening to soul music and R&B, aimi picked up her father's guitar and began writing her own music at the age of 16. Her musical style is rooted in the soulful sounds of 90s and 00s R&B, with a blend of contemporary and alternative R&B influences. Since her latest EP Chosen One was released in early 2022, aimi has been gaining more recognition within Japan and her global streams have jumped significantly. aimi continues to push boundaries with her music and proudly presents her made-in-Japan R&B for all the R&B lovers around the globe. In April, she released her first single of 2024, which was produced by US multi-platinum R&B producer LEJKEYS, known for his work on Jhene Aiko's Grammy-nominated album Chilombo, as well as with Anderson Paak, Yuna, Awich, AI, and others. In the past few years, aimi has collaborated with R&B artists like EMI MARIA, JASMINE, and rising J-pop artist Furui Riho. Her second collaboration with EMI MARIA, How's The Weather?, went viral in China, becoming one of the most popular tracks in her catalog. Alongside her releases, aimi hosts her own R&B event and podcast, Detox Lounge powered by R&B Lovers Club. On February 5, she released her first EP in three years, Empower.Embrace (2025). In celebration of its release, she held her first-ever solo concert at Shibuya WWW, marking a milestone in her career with a resounding success.

Show Chick Boy is a singer songwriter from Osaka. He made his debut as a singer with his first single "Lonely feat, Genta Aoki" released in 2020, and has been actively performing live mainly in Tokyo. Her sweet and somewhat bewitching voice pierces the hearts of listeners and leaves a strong impression. lonelow Born in 2007, from Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture, lonelow is a rapper who first discovered hip-hop at the age of 12 after watching the 15th High School Rap Championship. He began his career in earnest in 2023, and as a first-year high school student with only a year of experience, he became the youngest contestant to compete in the 19th High School Rap Championshi-and went on to win the title. Last year, he released both an album and an EP, and this August he dropped his second album, Brand New Me, continuing a tight schedule of releases. His lyrics reflect his struggles and determination to pursue music in Mie Prefecture-where few peers share the same path-while adapting his own style to trending beats. In August, he also performed at AH1 in Nagoya, sharing the stage with some of the most renowned artists in the scene. In the MC battle circuit, he has already made his mark with four appearances in the High School Rap Championship and an entry in KING OF KINGS 2024 GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL. Born 1978 in Tokyo, Japan, he is a DJ, trackmaker, producer, and turntablist. He started his career as a DJ at the age of 16, and in the late 1990s, he played in the hip-hop group Hannya with Hannya and Rumi. After the group disbanded, he released the mixtape "KAIKOO WITH SCRATCH 1999" on DIS-DEFENSE DISC, a label he founded himself in 1999. In 2001, he participated in the DJ KRUSH NIKE "Presto" music project. In 2005, he released the DVD "KAIKOO", a film documenting BAKU and Tokyo's independent music scene, and in 2006, he released the album "SPINHEDDZ" (which was released in 2008 on N2O Records by DJ Starscream of Slipknot and Omar of MarsVolta). Born in Chikuho, Fukuoka Prefecture, this third-generation Korean resident in Japan gained popularity on YouTube with the graduation song and made her major debut in 2012, appearing on numerous information and music programs.
