Mackie

Born in Sanjo, Niigata Japan. Masaki Kawakami had been known as Mackie and released 2 full albums after he returned from the States. He had changed his stage name to his full name after being given advice from singer Junichi Inagaki to do so if he was going to be more active in Japan. Since then, he became well known as a Neo Traditional Singer who performs various genres from J-pop to J-Rock and such as Country, Showa mainstream, Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Rock within his fans from a wide range of generations. With his original methods and hot humanism, he has also been active as a voice trainer for many celebrity talents, artists, and voice-over actors from Japan's top talent agencies.
