AMANOJACK began his journey in 2007, first gripping the mic on the stage of MC Battles. He quickly made a name for himself in the local scene by performing at numerous events and live shows across Kochi Prefecture, even providing entrance music for the Kochi Fighting Dogs baseball team.
In 2011, he took his talents overseas to the United States, where he shot music videos, collaborated with local musicians, and performed live, gaining international experience. In 2016, he returned to Japan, actively participating in local festivals and events in Kochi. That August, he represented Kochi on the nationwide hip-hop compilation album JPN 47.
2017 saw AMANOJACK move his base of operations from Kochi to Tokyo, expanding his reach even further. After a five-year hiatus, he made a highly anticipated comeback in June 2022 with his debut single Puff Puff Verse, accompanied by a Short Music Video and Lyric Video. In August of the same year, he released his second single Back in the Days, his first ballad, which garnered attention with its Full Music Video.
AMANOJACK continued to release music prolifically: his third single Sing it dropped in May 2023, followed by the fourth single California Summer Story in July, and the fifth single Hitorino Yoru (Lonely Night) in August. October saw the release of his sixth single, In a dream feat. SHIMPEI, which did not disappoint his fans. His first EP, The Rhyme Book Vol.1, released in August 2024, climbed to 13th place on the iTunes Store Hip-Hop/Rap Top Albums chart.
By October 2024, AMANOJACK had already dropped his second EP, The Rhyme Book Vol.2, which secured 18th place on the iTunes Store Hip-Hop/Rap Top Albums chart. In 2023, he launched official merchandise with a line of T-shirts, followed by a second wave in October 2024 featuring original towels. Currently, he is hard at work on his third EP, The Rhyme Book Vol.3, slated for release in 2025.
A rapper from Kochi who is spearheading his own movement, AMANOJACK is an artist to watch as he continues to make waves in the music scene.
