“Hiroto Yamakawa” just dropped the new and hot Album “Pluto (12 piano works)”. This album features 12 carefully selected piano miniatures, sketches composed by Hiroto Yamakawa over the course of a year and a half. The album opens with the title track, "Pluto." While a weighty theme underlies the piece, a subtle sense of unease lurks within it. This instability deepens in the second track, "Ambiguous Darkness," where the listener is drawn into a labyrinth by a semi-atonal harmony. This avant-garde approach is explored throughout the album, culminating in the sixth track, "Spontaneous Excitation," and the tenth track, "Ripples on a Reflecting Pool." As if to counterbalance these imbalances, the eleventh track, "Mu," unfolds with a serene melody in a major key, depicting a peaceful resolution following the release of anxiety. The album concludes with the final track, "Epilogue," which offers a quiet, introspective sound. This collection of piano miniatures invites the listener on a profound sonic journey, where tension and release intertwine in complex patterns.

Hiroto Yamakawa

Born in Osaka in 1999, Hiroto Yamakawa cultivated a profound affinity for classical music from a young age, honing his skills on the piano. Upon enrolling at the prestigious University of Tokyo, he immersed himself in the local music scene, finding inspiration in the fusion and R&B genres. Graduating with an engineering degree in 2022, he is currently based in Tokyo, pursuing his music career as a solo artist.
