glamscure

glamscure is a "dramatic romantic visual kei" band from Japan, formed by Japanese musicians Harui and Inori together with Italian singer Chaos. The band ranks amongst one of the rare exceptions in visual kei, where there is a blend of Japanese and Western performers, bringing together the long tradition of "visual kei" culture with the gothic aesthetics and approach of Europe. The band sets itself apart with its eccentric visual style, based on the theme of "revealing those dark corners of our hearts that we don't want to touch." Their distinctive worldview is based on the contrast of light and darkness, beauty and distortion. The band puts an emphasis on songs with a romantic allure and catchy melodies, with the aim to stimulate the listener's emotions and create emblematic works that foster a sense of empathy.
