“Kana AKARI” released the new music Album “Restaurant Scapegoat”

“Kana AKARI” just dropped the new and hot Album “Restaurant Scapegoat”. It will contain the songs 'Restaurant Scapegoat', 'Bohkan' and 'Bangal Elegy' total of 3songs. Enjoy the J-Pop sound from the far east Asia.

This is the third single released by Japanese singer-songwriter Akari Kana after a 13-year interval. The Title track-1, "Restaurant Scapegoat" is a cynical song about a social networking flameout, referring to an episode at an exclusive restaurant. Track-2 "Bohkan" tells the life story of a woman born in a war region and expresses against war and anti-gunocide messages. Track-3 "Bangal Elegy" sings about the honest and complicated feelings of "Bangal" (women who love V-kei bands) in a song-rock style.

Kana AKARI

Kana AKARI is a singer-songwriter, born in Gunma, Japan. She works on music with a background in 90's songs, anime songs, and V-ROCK. She started playing piano, singing in a chorus and playing trombone and oboe in the school brass band. She began live performances in 2009 and released her first mini CD Mitsugetsukuu in 2011 and her second mini CD Ito in 2012. Furthermore, she also worked as a radio presenter on Kawasaki FM and FM Urayasu from 2011 to 2012. Then, she temporarily stopped her activities in 2013 due to go on to university. From 2015 to 2016, she has studied English in Vancouver, Canada. After a decade, she resumed her activities in 2023, is energetically performing live mainly in her hometown Maebashi. She is going to release her third mini CD Restaurant Scapegoat on January 25th, 2025.
