This song was born from memories of my early childhood.
When I was nine years old, my mother passed away suddenly, and life with just my father and me began.
The ordinary days I had taken for granted quietly collapsed, and time moved forward without giving me any answers.
Back then, I learned how to act cheerful.
I hid my sadness and fear, watching my fathers expressions, the faces of adults around me, and my friends.
I didnt have the space to put my true feelings into words, nor the freedom to imagine the future.
Looking back now, I realize my father was going through the same thing.
Even so, we made it to where we are today, supported by many people along the way.
The reason, I believe, is that we never stopped talking.
About how we would live from then on.
About what we wanted to hold dear.
Even when we were clumsy, even when there were no answers, we kept having those conversations about the future.
If there is someone important that comes to mind for you,
someone you hope will remain by your side,
I hope you will take the time to talk about what comes next together.
If this song can become the spark that carries that first word,
and gently push you forward,
there would be no greater joy for me.
