SAI

Born and raised in Tokyo.Vocalist and writer. SAI and other members formed a Post Punk trio Ms.Machine in 2015 and so far the band performed with both Japanese and Western artists including Australian post punk bands like TOTAL CONTROL and UBIK. The feminist band also actively appears on various kinds of online media platforms such as America's 8ball or The Japan Times to shares their thoughts on feminism and other modern issues in Japan through their intense angry performance. The band released a much-anticipated debut album Ms.Machine in 2021.They performed at the Fuji Rock Festival.In recent years, he has appeared at the event "D2021" hosted by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Masafumi Goto.

SAI began her solo music career in the summer of 2019. She has been featured in the magazine "Ongaku to Hito" and appeared on the InterFM radio program "sensor," which has been a big topic of conversation. In September 2022, She contributed a review to the music documentary film "Other Music."SAI has also collaborated with leading musicians such as Akko Gorilla, A VIRGIN, Cwondo, Phew, and Tentenco. In 2023, SAI completed a successful Nordic tour and release new album"Under Water Garden" .Currently in production in New Zealand.
