"Bishamon" was created in the image of Bishamonten, the god of war and battle. I have always loved the warlords and was especially interested in Kenshin Uesugi. He called himself "a reincarnation of Bishamonten" and worshipped Bishamonten as a "god of war". Uesugi Kenshin gradually piqued my interest in "Bishamon" creation. Furthermore, I learned that the monk Ryotoshi Ryoshun, who was in charge of preaching the previous work "Vairocana," belonged to Oiwayama Tamonin Saishoji Temple. My desire to cherish this connection turned into a strong desire to absolutely create a song about Bishamonten. Many of the Buddhist images of Bishamonten are armed and have powerful expressions that trample evil spirits. The first phrase of the song depicts Bishamonten in fighting the enemy, while the latter seven-beat section depicts Bishamonten trampling evil spirits with a stern expression. In addition, gods with "heaven" in their names are considered to be the closest to human beings, and since they both marry and give birth, Bishamonten also has Kichijoten as his wife and has five children. Moreover, it is unusual that Kichijoten and his fifth son, Zen'iaoshi Doji, are depicted in the same mandala! I was intrigued by this part of the mandala and decided to reflect not only the strong side of Bishamonten, but also his human-like inner self. The expression on Bishamonten's face as he fights to protect his family from outside enemies can be described as the strength of love. I hope you can feel the love and strength of Bishamonten, who has something to protect, from this song. The first mantra in the song is Bishamonten's mantra, "On beishira mandaya sowaka" . And in the middle is a mantra that means to remove misfortune, but it is a mantra that should not be written because it is too powerful. The last is the mantra of Fudo Myoo, "Noumaku samandabasaradan kan". It has tremendous power, and I hope it will help everyone who listens to it. Please listen to it many times!
