“LUNA” released the new music Album “Everything Must Change”

“LUNA” just dropped the new and hot Album “Everything Must Change”. A debut album of LUNA. She has a voice blessed with rich sound and overtones which creates a lyrical world of jazz music. This album was fully supported by Japan's leading jazz musicians such as pianist Manabu Ohishi and saxphonist Hidefumi Toki.

LUNA

LUNA was born in Aichi, Japan.
She was brought up surrounded with the various music by the parents of a music teacher and a koto player.

LUNA started her career as a jazz singer in 2001.
In 2009, she released her debut album [EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE] which she recorded with Manabu Ohishi(piano) Yasushi Yoneki(bass) Cecil Monroe(drums) and Hidefumi Toki(soprano&alto saxophone).
This album was elected "My best album 2009" of Jazz Life magazine.
And also nominated for "Jazz disc award of 2009" of the swing journal magaizine.
In 2012, she released her 2nd album [Natural] which she recorded with Manabu Ohishi(piano).
This album includes seven original songs written by Ohishi and LUNA.

In 2015, the album [Overtone Forest] of the band "Overtone Forest" was released, which she participate as a singer and also wrote several songs.

Her voice contains rich harmonic overtone which is described as dynamic and delicate. And her song is lyrical and full of emotion with bluesy sound.

Besides singing jazz standards, compose her own songs and also writes lyrics to the music composed by other musicians.
Also she collaborates with various musicians not only as a soloist but as a part of the ensemble, which she consider her voice as a musical instrument.
