Yohei Nishi, a member of the four-piece pop band "balconny" based in Fukuoka, will begin his solo career under the name "westman8" in 2025. Mini albums containing songs created using music generation AI will be released consecutively from February 4, 2025. The first mini album "the City Pop vol.1" will be released on February 4, the second mini album "the Pops vol.1" on February 14, and the third mini album "the Pops vol.2" on February 24. For vol.1, this work selects songs with "male vocals" from the songs produced, and the genres are wide-ranging, ranging from R&B, catchy dance pop, classic straight pop, and ballads, making it a lineup that will touch the hearts of people of all ages. In particular, most of the songs on this album are "early works from when we started creating AI," and you can feel the initial impulse of starting out by feeling your way around.
