Xanadoo is a four-piece indie band that weaves a "New disco" sound, rooted in Rock, Funk, R&B, and Soul - music that makes you want to move your body.
With their debut 1st single "Sangousen" and 2nd single "darling" - both released simultaneously with the band's formation in November 2022 - they landed on Spotify's official playlist [Soul Music Japan] two releases in a row. "darling" remained on the playlist for four consecutive weeks, while the band was also selected as a featured artist by TuneCore Japan's [Independent AF2023] project - an early testament to their high-quality music and growing presence.
In 2024, Xanadoo performed in Tokyo as part of "ODD WAVE vol.1", hosted by Creativeman, the organizers of major rock festivals. Back in their hometown of Fukuoka, they won the grand prize at The Creators 2024 audition, securing a spot on their first outdoor festival stage - steadily building a solid reputation in the live music scene.
The latest single "Nekkikyu" is an emotional number that blends J-POP sensibilities with Xanadoo's signature stylish and bittersweet grooves, wrapped in a sophisticated urban sound. Like a hot air balloon swaying in the sky, the delicate shifts of the heart are painted through melody and rhythm. On April 12 (Sat), the band will co-host the late-night event "SHOW CASE MUSIC PARTY vol.2" at Fukuoka's live house fukuoka graf, bringing the concept of modern disco to life.

Xanadoo is a four-member indie band that develops a "New disco" sound that makes you want to shake your body, with roots in rock/funk/R&B/soul. Their first single "Sangousen" and second single "darling", released at the same time as their formation in November 2022, were consecutively ranked on the official Spotify playlist [Soul Music Japan].
