Here's the first album in three years from Karen Tanaka, who began her freelance journey in 2020. This long-awaited release, her first full album, is a collaboration with the wonderful jazz musicians she had the pleasure of meeting during her time on a record label. Featuring the talents of Ryoji Orihara (fretless bass and music direction), Yasushi Fukumori (drums), and Shuichiro Inui (guitar), this album represents a noticeable evolution from her previous work, "The City of Despair and the Light of Morning," offering a gentle and insightful look into the human experience and the beauty of everyday life.
