Formed in Hakodate, Hokkaido, the band theza releases their first EP, "impact", shaking up the scene with a presence all their own. The EP features seven tracks - "Intoro" "warapiko" "Imp" "Don't stop, youknow" "DO NOT RUSH" "mejika no samba" and "DOTE" - each carrying a distinct impulse and aesthetic, yet collectively expressing the sharp edges and intentional stillness at the core of the band's sound. These songs are a vivid reflection of theza's wide musical spectrum and raw sensibility. While drawing influence from alternative rock, post-punk, R&B, and hip-hop, their music is far from derivative. Instead, each track is a reimagining of those inspirations through the unique sensibilities of the members, resulting in a minimalist yet deeply emotional sonic landscape. This EP marks a threshold between theza's "now" and what lies ahead. Their music lives in the in-between - between city and countryside, between reality and reverie - resonating within that beautifully ambiguous space.

theza is a band that blends rock, hip hop, R&B and soul as the foundation of their sound, creating a unique musical style with catchy melodies and emotional lyrics. They began their activities in their hometown of Hokkaido in November 2022. On November 17, 2022, they released their first single, ABA2022, which ranked 10th for 17 consecutive days on the Spotify playlist New Music Everyday tuneTracks (curated by TuneCore Japan). On January 7, 2023, they participated in a live-streamed event at CLUB COCOA for the first time. They then performed at Hakodate ARARA on January 14. On April 9, they joined Rich Aucoin Japan Tour as a supporting act. On June 18, they performed at LONG TIME NO SEE 2nd Mini Album Release event at Hakodate ARARA. On July 8, they performed at the outdoor festival BOX FES 2023 at Hakodate Green Plaza. On October 14, they played at REVOLVER in Sapporo as part of UNDERWATER MOONLIGHT. On February 17, 2024, they released their first EP, impact, available both digitally and on CD. Their new single, Spankall, is scheduled for release in May 2025.
