CITY GIRL VELOCITY is an electro-pop tune about the real emotions and speedy days of a 20-something girl running through the city. The lyrics were written by usabeni herself. The lyrics are a mixture of impatience, hope, loneliness, and sparkle that she has felt in her twenties, and are written from her own life. The music is composed by Q-Rabbit, who creates kawaii music based on Future Funk. The refined electronic sound is overlaid with usabeni's delicate yet powerful vocals, giving the song a somewhat retro and nostalgic air. The music video, directed and edited by usabeni herself, was shot at her home and at Chatan in Okinawa.
