Up-and-coming R&B/Soul singer Ruto Kasahara, based in Sapporo, teams up with his own soul band, THE SOUL EATERS, for a powerful new single, "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free," set for digital release on June 6, 2025. This heartfelt cover of the iconic anthem, which has been interpreted by countless legendary artists, is delivered with soulful vocals and a rich, live band arrangement that pays deep respect to the original. Ruto Kasahara's expressive voice and the vibrant, groove-filled performance by THE SOUL EATERS breathe new life into the classic, while staying true to its emotional core.
