Tokyo-based guitar duo Cjam will release their long-awaited debut EP, Days In Evertown, on June 5, 2025. Blending influences from jazz, soul, and bossa nova with delicate guitar riffs, the duo creates a distinct musical world that is both refined and expressive. Formed by a beatmaker and a singer-songwriter-each with their own musical paths in Tokyo-Cjam began their collaboration after becoming roommates. Their music evokes the feeling of two close friends sharing a quiet, joyful moment, drawing listeners into a gentle and flowing sense of time. From breezy, city-inspired melodies to tracks as soothing as the sound of a forest stream, Days In Evertown captures a natural sense of time shared between the two artists, like a collection of short stories told through sound. Built on grooves nurtured over time and a creative spirit that transcends genre, Cjam's debut work marks the beginning of a journey filled with warmth, subtlety, and musical curiosity.
