KATAGI A.K.A. ALIENAZYN Originally from Downtown Eastside Vancouver and currently based in Tokyo Japan, I have done everything from fronting punk bands to being a conscious rapper during a time in Japan when many labels were looking to sign bilingual rappers. After turning down every single offer, I eventually joined a rap metal band only to selfishly quit less than a year later. After a long hiatus from making music and various stints as an elementary school teacher, a human resources manager at an internet startup etc. I have come back to making music as a hobby while working as a freelancer. I now make music alternative rap music where I get to blend my various musical influences.
