RAURA

Born and raised in Tokyo,JAPAN. RAURA was exposed to various forms of art from an early age. She enjoyed drawing and studied Japanese calligraphy, flower arrangement, tea ceremony, and Aikido. During her junior high and high school years, she studied performing arts in both Japan and the U.S. While studying psychology, behavioral science, and human resource management in college, she had the opportunity to visit a spa resort. There, she was introduced to a healing environment that incorporated sound therapy, which became a turning point in her life. Inspired by this experience, she began studying color therapy, aromatherapy, and spa business management. She further explored the sacred power of "Mana" in Hawaii and deepened her understanding of meditation in India. Discovering the Crystal Singing Bowl was a profound revelation for RAURA. She felt that it could bring together and express her diverse interests in spiritualism, art, psychology, and philosophy. In 2006, having found a unique sound that embodied her aesthetics and philosophy, she debuted as a professional Crystal Singing Bowl player.
