Formed by bassist Masato Shirahata, parasols brings together four musicians who met through jazz club sessions in Tokyo. Bonded by a shared curiosity and mutual respect, the group explores their own sound under the concept of colorful pop instrumental. Each member contributes as a composer, blending their unique musical voices into a vibrant and intimate soundscape. Their music moves freely, sometimes gentle, sometimes bold, but always filled with sincerity. parasols are Akihiro Kaneko (keyboards), Yui Kawahito (keyboards), Masato Shirahata (bass), Seia Konishi (drums)
