Swimming Sheep has released a work under the name American Green since 2008 and produces dreamy electronic pop to chillwave sounds. This is a conceptual album that depicts the world of ice photography he has taken and posted on Instagram over the years since 2015. In charge of mastering is IEDA from One Day Diary, who is also in charge of mastering for Au Revoir Simone from Rallye Label and the arranging of voice actress Kana Hanazawa. This time, some of the vocal tunes incorporate interlude solos, and we have limited the timbre to using as much ice-like sounds as possible. In addition, the sound of the drum was made closer to a club-style sound by adding claps, snaps, and TR808-type sounds. Pop songs, tropical tracks, and a "Chill Out" kind of vibe. This electronic pop album from American Green, now as Swimming Sheep, conveys city pop in rock through electronica, with sounds resembling the extracting and crystallizing of minerals from the utopia Vapor Wave has been aiming for. This track, along with a fusion of songs and synthesized sounds reminiscent of Morr Music in the 2000s, beats that derived from R & B, and their elements are combined by a good melody into one big swell. This album takes the package of the 80's atmosphere, attempted by Internet generation track makers such as Mark Redito, one step further. Having noticed the beauty of the ice in my iced coffee at work, I wanted to express that there is beauty everywhere around us, even in those seemingly dull weekdays. This is why the album, comprised of seven original songs, is titled "WEEKDAY'S ICE". Whether you are having a short break on a weekday or taking the day off to relax, I hope that you would enjoy the seven stories these songs have to offer with a cup of coffee in hand.

Swimming Sheep
In 2008, he started his solo music project under the name of American Green.
Over the next five years he released music on various netlabels.
In 2016, he released a collaborative album called 'Dorothy' with Sima Kim on CD as well as a digital release through wonderlight records.
Afterwards, he released a single called 'I'm Your Ice(Feat. Hyojin)'. Hyojin is a singer in a jazz band called Room306. The song was featured on official playlists curated by Apple Music & Spotify, as well as music production company agehasprings, and music media company SPACESHOWER etc. The song also reached no.8 on Spotify's viral charts in Japan.
In 2019, he changed his artist name from American Green to Swimming Sheep.
Then he released a collaborative single called 'Goodbye, My Love' with Blush Cameron and a self-released solo work 'Sleepy Mermaid'. He also released a collaborative single 'Make Me Feel(Feat. Hyojin)' from YOUNG,GIFTED&WACK RECORDS.
Then he released his first album 'WEEKDAY'S ICE' through wonderlight records. It's a conceptual album of "ice cubes' world," a theme based on photographs he had taken and posted on his Instagram beginning in 2015.
