The third album (2003) by fingerstyle guitarist Michio Ogawa, who has attracted attention for his unique sense, is a big leap from his previous two works. The sounds produced by a single guitar is full of transparency, and resonates delicately and emotionally. The gentle and comfortable flowing melodies that make you want to look up at the starry sky project a nostalgic landscape that is neither Japanese, American, nor European in the listener's mind.
