Rintaro Takesako

Singer-songwriter and doctor born on September 8, 1978 in Himeji, Japan. He was familiar with Western music from an early age due to his father's influence, and in junior high and high school, he was strongly influenced by Paul McCartney and started playing guitar and piano, as well as writing lyrics and composing. Around the same time, he was inspired by Brian Wilson and discovered the appeal of arranging songs with an emphasis on chorus work. In 2002, while attending medical school, he made his debut with the EP "The Season Of Love" from Climax Entertainment, which was heavily influenced by West Coast Rock. Since then, he has consistently released works in a style that is often described as AOR and City Pop. In 2006, he took a break from music activities when he obtained his medical license. In 2012, he resumed his music activities with the start of the FM program "Dr. Takesako's Music Clinic." In 2014, he released the single "Master Of Xmas" from K&T RECORDS, and in 2015, his first album "HARMONIES ~The Best Of The CLIMAX Years~" from Clinck Records. He then lived in London for a year. In 2017, he released his second album "Union", a collection of British-flavored rock and pop songs with themes of "family ties" and "Britain". On November 29, 2024, after overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, he will release his third album "Love Waits For You", which can be said to be a culmination of his previous works, singing of love and peace, set in Osaka.
