The Promise of That Day, released a year and a half ago, this new album carries a particularly special sentiment. We invite you to hold it close.Like her previous album, this work was crafted with engineer Osamu Toba and sound producer Yuichi Tanaya. Since listening to her last album, HAYASHIITO had a clear vision of what was missing and decided on a specific approach for this one: to earnestly capture every moment. In her words, "Since this is human work, I wanted to keep it raw." The theme this time is "to go raw." It's hard to explain, but it means not over-polishing-honestly documenting everything that happens in the moment. This approach naturally gives rise to "imperfections" (like slight rhythmic shifts or subtle pitch uncertainties). These imperfections, Hayashi says, mark her growth in this album. Through this process, she came to truly understand that these raw imperfections can shine in their own way over time and that there are things only such rawness can convey.Please look forward to the day these imperfections gleam, and listen to this album for years-ten, twenty, or more.
