“FKD & DJ Mitsu the Beats” released the new music Album “blurs”

DJ Mitsu the Beats, a member of the hip-hop group GAGLE and Sendai-based DJ/beatmaker DJ Mitsu the Beats, and beatmaker/producer FKD, who continues to expand his activities as Dry Echoes (Hikaru Tanaka x FKD) and VIBEPAK, have released a joint beat album "blurs. FKD, a beatmaker/producer who also works as Dry Echoes (Hikaru Tanaka x FKD) and VIBEPAK, has released a collaborative beat album titled blurs. The album is a compilation of demos of songs created by DJ Mitsu the Beats, broken down and reconstructed by FKD. The album includes songs reminiscent of straight-ahead beat music, as well as the summer tune Summertime featuring SSW ZIN and rapper Hikaru Tanaka, and is a collection of songs that are rich with the roots of each DJ and a sense of crossover that only a DJ can create. The artwork is by Shizuoka-based artist, Kayla Kurokawa, and the album's title track is Summertime. The artwork is by Shizuoka-based artist TAKERU IWAZAKI.

FKD & DJ Mitsu the Beats

Born in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo-based Sound Producer. He began street dancing at an early age and started DJing at the age of 16, influenced by US HipHop and R&B of the 00's. He then encountered the experimental beat music scene in LA and was greatly influenced by it. Later on, he was greatly influenced by the experimental beat music scene in LA, and started producing music. He also directs the creative group "VIBEPAK," and is involved in the cultural transmission of a closer crossover between dance and music. Starting with the release of the album "EGO TRIP" from OILWORKS Rec. in 2019, he has provided music and sound design for domestic and international artists, including Dry Echoes (Hikaru Tanaka x FKD) and FIC (FKD, Shun Ishiwaka Aaron Choulai), and Dewy (erie&FKD).
