ASH & YUTA KITAGAWA

ASH is a Japanese guitarist, artist, and composer whose music blends American blues and hard rock with the sensitivity of modern Japanese pop. His signature style is an emotional and cinematic guitar sound defined by expressive phrasing, warm dynamics, and a deep sense of storytelling. Raised in Tokyo and now living by the sea, ASH brings both urban tension and coastal calm into his music. From delicate melodic lines to soaring, powerful solos, his playing is recognized for channeling raw emotion with clarity and depth. ASH began playing guitar at 17. After joining a band, he performed on nationwide tours and appeared in TV commercials, studio recordings, and major music videos. He later spent time in Los Angeles, playing local shows, sessions, and church gigs an experience that broadened his musical identity and global perspective. In 2018, he launched his solo career. In 2020, he released new music for 12 consecutive months, with his single OMG reaching #1 on the iTunes Chart and its music video also hitting #1. His album 2020 reached #6 on the iTunes chart. As a guitarist, ASH has supported major Japanese artists, most notably performing for six years as the guitarist for YOASOBI, contributing to studio recordings, live performances, and music videos. His guitar work has been part of projects accumulating over 600 million total streams. In 2025, ASH became a Gibson Marquee Artist.the first Japanese guitarist and only the third globally to receive this distinction marking a significant step in his international presence and recognition. ASH's music values not only technique, but emotion, atmosphere, and honesty. Through his sound, he continues to define a new image of what a guitarist from Japan can be on the global stage.

Toshihiro Fujita

Electric violinist and mandolinist / kit drummer / composer / Voice-over artist / video director / Born in Shizuoka City in October 1962. He studied violin with Yumiko Yaguchi for eight years from the age of six and a half. He was strongly attracted to the music of The Beatles and aspired to become a drummer, so he moved to Tokyo and studied under jazz drummer Motohiko Hino at the age of twenty. After working as his assistant, he then moved to the UK. For over a decade, he worked on numerous sessions and recordings with musicians of various styles, while also working energetically as an actor and voice-over artist credited as TOSHI FUJITA for TV, radio, films and various media. After returning to Japan, he worked hard to relearn violin playing while working on video production, music production, and performance activities, and began his music production and performance activities in 2023 with this as the axis. The motif of his music production is that the entire song results in a film-like arbitrary intention, and that information is developed from a momentary capture. Since there is a strong element of improvisation, he considers his musical position to be that of a composer. There are many musicians, poets, movies, and artists that he likes, but the ones that have had a major influence on his compositional ideas are Toru Takemitsu, Pink Floyd, Isao Tomita, Shuntaro Tanikawa, Yuzo Kawashima, and Hiroshi Teshigahara. Influenced playing style and approach are KinshiTsuruta and Jeff Beck.His idol is Jaco Pastorius. Strongly believing that the process of creating music is very similar to cooking itself, so that empathize with Yoshiharu Doi's cooking methods and motto.

Yuki Nakanishi

I learn the basics of orchestration from Akihito Yamaguchi and study it by myself afterwards. In some composition contest of the contemporary music, I have the experience that caught some prizes. Other than the relations of classical music and contemporary music , I work on wide music production with the other name. For example, the picture and event relations, the songs of some artists, soundtrack of mini theater movie. I make use of vocalist experience from 2000 through 2006, and in late years I release some musical pieces to act as a vocalist. Here, I make it my motto that I send piano music with the tonality freely although being a pleasure.

Founded in 1998, the group consists of Kimiko and Jun Sasaki, who were classmates at high school in Chiba, Japan. Since they were independent record label artists. they had performed in great number of live shows, including a nationwide tour of 63 shows in 3 months, and their major label debut on September 22, 2010. They have composed and sung the theme songs of TV animation, such as "Hanasaku Iroha," "Non-Non Biyori" "Bakuman," "Food Wars!", and also NHK's "Minna no Uta" and "Summer high school baseball broadcast". They also compose songs for other artists and active in a wide range of fields. They continued to expand their musical activities, including a one-man live tour of 47 prefectures, planetarium performances, and festival appearances at ROCK IN JAPAN and COWNTDOWN JAPAN. In 2025, they released their 8th full-length album for celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut.
