I created this song in the hope that it will reach those who are lonely now and those who are wondering why they are different from others. On a lonely night, another loneliness is with you. Sticky&Tomaty Founded in Japan in January 2025, Sticky&Tomaty merges music and character animation. The band pioneers Escaperock, a genre born of the credo: when society's truth feels suspect, drift into dreams, shape your ideal, shout it, then bend reality to match it. Drawing on grunge, electronic, dream pop, and ambient, their sound pairs hazy atmospheres with emotional urgency. Visually, floating characters such as the red tomato Tomaty and the green gooey Sticky embody Reverism, an art movement blurring the line between dream and reality. Every lyric, composition, vocal, track, and artwork is crafted by Sota Goto.

January 2025, Japan Sticky&Tomaty is a band that combines music and character animation. "If you doubt the rightness of society or other people's standards, flit off into a dream, verbalize your ideals and shout them out. When you return to reality, you can make society conform to your ideals." The music switches you from reality into a dream. The sound is alternative rock with influences from grunge, electronic, dreampop, ambient, etc., intersecting with a fantastic atmosphere and emotional impulses. On the visual side, the music videos and artwork feature the floating red tomato character "Tomaty" and green gooey character "Sticky", which are reminiscent of Reverism (his own art movement that blurs the boundaries between dream and reality). All lyrics, composition, singing, track-making, and artwork are done by organizer Sota Goto.
