Neo City Soul's "Encounter in Slow Motion" releases a collaboration song with Erina Oda. The collaboration song between the Neo City Soul unit "Encounter in Slow Motion," which handles rap and poetry readings, and singer Erina Oda,"Lover is an Invader" and "Spiral Mermaid," will be the unit's debut single.Produced and performed by bassist Ryuta Sakamoto, the two tracks feature guitarist Hajime Matsuda, drummer Yuichi Sotono, and keyboardist Yuki Hanabusa as support members.They successfully futurize the soul and funk of the late 1970s into Neo City Soul.Along with the release, the music video for "Lover is an Invader" is set to be unveiled,with the dance scenes featuring former °C-ute member Murakami Ai as the choreographer.

A Neo City Soul unit led by rapper and poetry reader KATASUMI who has been active as a global hip-hop artist. The tracks, produced and performed by bassist Ryuta Sakamoto, feature support from guitarist Hajime Matsuda, drummer Yuichi Hokazono, and keyboardist Yuki Hanabusa, among others. The music successfully reimagines the SOUL and FUNK of the late 1970s to early 1980s in a Neo City Soul style, achieving a remarkable futuristic sound.
