Enjoy the J-Pop sound from the far east Asia.

First of all, thank you so much for taking an interest in my album enishi. This album is made of 8 songs, arranged in a sequence with the prayer that- even just a little ray of light may shine into the Ama-no-Iwato of your heart (a sacred cave from Japanese mythology, symbolizing the hidden heart), and that a gentle, warm light may reach you. That"s why I would be so happy if you could listen to enishi all the way through. If this work can accompany you, even just a little, in your precious everyday life, there is nothing that would make me happier. Let's open the Ama-no-Iwato of our hearts together, and live with lightness and joy!!! With love *:)

Eri Imamachi

Eri Imamachi

A singer-songwriter from Nakanoto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. She began her musical career in 2015, mainly performing in Tokyo. She released four self-produced singles and one full-length album, and also worked as a radio personality, delivering heartfelt messages through her music and voice. In 2023, she moved her base of activities to Nakanoto, known as the town where the world's oldest rice ball (onigiri) fossil was discovered. Inspired by this, she created a music video titled "ONIGIRI," featuring choreography by KOHMEN. Over 1,000 people-including local students, residents, the Governor of Ishikawa, and Ms. Ukon, the owner of the famous rice ball shop "Bongo" -came together across generations and backgrounds, making it a joyful project that continues to spread nationwide. On January 1, 2024, the Noto Peninsula Earthquake struck, completely destroying her home. From that experience, she wrote and released support songs such as "Te wo Toriatte" and "Hand in Hand." On the six-month anniversary of the disaster, she held support concerts at two evacuation shelters in Wajima City. Even after a year and a half, she continues to sing at support events, temporary housing sites, and festivals across and beyond the prefecture. Last year, she performed in Mie Prefecture, and this year, she expanded her reach to Tokyo (twice) and Fukui, sharing music that brings "courage to live." and "the light of hope." On January 1, 2025, she released the music video for "Hand in Hand," which includes scenes showing the current state of the affected areas, her home scheduled for demolition at the end of August, and her performance with young dancers she met at support events.
