“Yoshio Sasaki” released the new music Album “Song Book Earth Festival”
“Yoshio Sasaki” just dropped the new and hot Album “Song Book Earth Festival”. It will contain the songs 'Harukaze', 'Water Nymph's Dance', 'Toward the Sea', 'Flurry', 'HARUKARUKA', 'Gods' Woods', 'Walking on the Horizon', 'Earth Choral' and 'Earth Song' total of 9songs. Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.
Composing[Earth Festival] The music produced this time around is a sequel to "Spirit of Asia". The first five tracks were born like dew from the four seasons of this land, and the latter four tracks are based on Okhotsk's ancient maritime tribe, the Moyoro. The Okhotsk Sea area is known for its many seafaring peoples since the Jomon period. Each group had its own culture and stories. The Moyoro people, especially known as the ancient maritime people of Okhotsk, are also known for transmitting culture to who are now the Ainu people, from the Jomon period to the Yayoi period. But the Moyoro people disappeared abruptly from history, and are therefore considered a mysterious ancient maritime tribe. Humans of all ages have had their ups and downs. Human beings repeat the rise and fall on Earth, a planet in the vast universe. I wanted to know what that means, which lead to this composition.

■ Yoshio Sasaki Profile While participating in the Kikuchi Hideyuki Group and Sawada Shungo Trio, he was also involved in a wide range of activities, including working on music for the late Shuji Terayama's "Tenjou Sajiki" theater troupe. In 1983, he moved his base of activity to Hokkaido and initiated one-of-a-kind Mind Jazz, using synthesizers, percussion, and bass. Announced the album "Sho" in 1987 and the album "Yukyu" in 1993. He has also focused on nurturing the next-generation musicians through exchanges with close friends, such as Gary Burton, Chick Korea, Sammy Nestico, Giovanni Hidalgo, Eric Miyashiro, and Shigeharu Mukai. Participated as a music producer and composer / arranger for the 20th consecutive year from the 1st Jazz Month in Asahikawa (1995). 2018 Produced part one "Spirit of Asia" of the Mind Jazz Asia trilogy. 2019 Produced part two of the trilogy "Earth Festival".
