Artist Profile Sei-key Musician/Singer-songwriter Base of operations: Okinawa Prefecture In 2023, he formed the music unit "West Castle" and began his career as a musician in earnest. He released his first single "It will be alright" and attracted attention with its warm and positive message and melody. After that, he energetically performed live and appeared at music events around the country. In October 2023, he was selected as one of the two best groups out of more than 50 participants at a city live audition hosted by Koza Music Town in Okinawa City, proving his skills. In the same year, he also appeared at "Music Power" and in 2024, he participated in Okinawa's leading music festival "Music Lane Festival". He captivates audiences with his sound and expressiveness that are not bound by genre and that are close to emotions. And in 2025, he will take a new step as a solo artist "Sei-key". He will release his solo debut single "Moonlight and Butterfly". With a delicate and fantastical worldview and lyrics that depict the inner world, the range of expression has been further expanded. Sei-key, who has nurtured creative talent since childhood, was born on May 5th and grew up with carp streamers purchased by his grandparents. He was fascinated by rainbow streamers and naturally became attracted to colors and shapes. As a child, he loved drawing pictures, and it was particularly impressive to see him continue to draw pictures of giraffes. When he was in kindergarten, he drew a picture for Father's Day and it was exhibited at a shopping mall, but his use of colors was so unique that he painted his father purple and green, and he was scolded by his grandparents. From that time on, he began to pursue freedom of color and expression. He also liked the alarm sound of his mother's cell phone, and that sound became his first "dream for the future," and that was the moment his interest in music began to grow. He was then fascinated by the world of music, and today he explores his own unique sound and engages in musical activities that fuse a wide range of genres.
